Welcome to our design page. One thing we've learned over the years is that no matter what shirt style or ink colors you pick, your print will only be as good as your art.

Time and time again, our art department sets us apart from other presses. We've been working with client-provided art for years, and consistently come out above and beyond our customers expectations. The pride we take in out high art standards lets us design for local elementary schools and family reunions with the same attention to detail as our designs for Vail resorts and Playskool Disney.

With Lab Se7en, you have a few options to get your art just right:

This one's pretty easy. If you design shirts, hit us up! Our designer specs are to your right, and you can learn a little more about avoiding common errors in our Designer Tips, available for download directly below the specs. The Designer Tips include a few tips to creating art for the screen printing process as well as our shirt templates, which are helpful for giving us (and anyone else) a preview of your art.

Keep in mind if your art is not print-ready, there is always option B:

Let's face it, not everyone is a graphic designer, and finding out the design you spent a few hours on isn't print-ready is seriously the worst way to spend an afternoon. Fret not; our designers have years of experience doing what we call "rebuilds."

Give us all the files you have and we'll make your original design print-ready. Also, if you're not terribly attached to your art, our designers can add a little flair to your idea to give your original art an extra pop.

Our designers do this everyday. Whether it's a school soccer team, hip hop clothing company, or even a logo for your non-profit, our art department has years of experience designing to client specifications.

With this option it's important to give our artists as much ammo as you can to get you exactly what you're looking for. If you've sketched something up or have an example of a design you like, send it over! We'll set up a brief consultation (usually a quick phone call) and give you a personalized quote.

all raster files (PSD, JPEG, PDF or TIFF) need to be in 300dpi and in the size they are intended to be printed in. if your files are vectors (AI, PDF, EPS), please specify your print size when you order.

rasterize (raster files) or create outlines (vector files) your fonts before sending over your artwork. Alternatively, you can include your font file when you send the artwork.

Along with your Hi-Res art files, it's good to include a small mock up using our shirt templates (or someone else's) specify any location, sizing or any other special requirements you have.
